The Costa de la Luz has deservedly got many fans; with the long white, fine sandy beaches it is hardly surprising. The 300 days of sunshine per year, plus the constant breeze make it every sunbathers dream. However it is the watersports that the young, fit and beautiful flock to on this very special coast line, with windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and now paddle boarding on offer. Yet if the beach and watersports aren't your thing, there is plenty more to do - mountain biking, rock climbing, golf, bird watching, hiking, plus culture is close on hand. All available to you if you book a Tarifa Beach House in Andalucia.

May and June are the best time to come in terms of good weather and empty beaches. Wild flowers adorn the properties and surrounding countryside in Spring. April is interesting culturally; the Easter processions are a big event in all Andalucian villages – Seville the highlight. The typical Andalucian feria (a week long party) should not be missed, and are worth hunting down, from Easter until October there is one on somewhere in Andalucia, and if you are intrigued to see a bullfight this is your big opportunity. Tarifa has its feria in September (this is also one of the best months to be in Tarifa) with its 500 strong horseback parade, rides, raffles, bullfights and surfing competitions. For more information on what is going on in the area, please see the ‘Tarifa Events’ section of the website.
